Tamara Munoz, Excluded Workers Fund Assistant

 

Tamara Munoz is a Hispanic American from Miami, Florida with a strong commitment to supporting immigrant and undocumented workers. She holds an Associate of Arts degree in Political Science from Miami Dade College and is now a senior at Cornell’s School of Industrial and Labor Relations. She also plans to graduate with a minor in Inequality Studies in an effort to promote social justice reform. She has extensive volunteer experience with various nonprofit organizations and is an editor for Cornell’s Undergraduate Journal of Disability Studies. Tamara is also passionate about education and childhood development. She has worked as a public school instructor and is currently a Program Lead at Ivy Camps USA. She is looking forward to serving the Ithaca community and shadowing Cecilia Perez amidst the Excluded Workers Fund effort. Tamara’s interests also include the performing arts, travel, and poetry.Â
